These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the ‘CA Setu’ Portal of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

By accessing, registering on or using the Portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Your continued use of the Portal following any modification to these Terms and Conditions shall constitute your acceptance of such modifications.
The Portal ‘CA Setu’ of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a secure and verified digital platform established to facilitate structured professional engagement, collaboration, knowledge exchange and institutional growth among Chartered Accountants, CA Firms and Enterprises within a trusted environment. Users shall use the Portal strictly for lawful, ethical and professional purposes consistent with the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 and the ICAI Code of Ethics, as amended from time to time.
ICAI’s role in relation to the Portal is limited to that of a facilitator and technology enabler. Information pertaining to active ICAI members, as fetched from the Self-Service Portal (SSP), shall be deemed verified only to the extent available in ICAI’s official records.
Any additional information, professional details, descriptions, preferences, listings, endorsements or other content submitted, uploaded or modified by registered users shall be based on their respective declarations. The Portal provides search and discovery functionalities based on information furnished by registered users for facilitating collaboration and networking among professionals.
The information and content posted on the Portal are provided on an “as is” basis. ICAI does not independently verify, endorse or make any representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, authenticity, reliability or suitability of such information or content.
Users are advised to independently verify the information posted on the Portal and exercise their own judgment and due diligence before relying upon or acting on the same. It shall not be construed as an endorsement, recommendation, certification or guarantee by ICAI.
ICAI shall not be a party to, or responsible for, any professional engagement, collaboration, arrangement or transaction between users through the Portal. The same shall be undertaken at their own discretion and responsibility. ICAI shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage resulting from the use of this portal.
ICAI does not warrant that access to the Portal will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Portal or its server will be free from viruses or other harmful components. Any error, discrepancy or inaccurate information furnished by a registered user may be brought to the notice of ICAI for appropriate action.
To the extent permitted under applicable law, ICAI shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claim or consequence, whether direct or indirect, arising out of or in connection with the use of or reliance upon the Portal or any information or content posted thereon, including any professional engagement, collaboration, arrangement or transaction arising through or in connection with the Portal.
ICAI reserves the right to deny or restrict access to the Portal to any person, or to block access from any Internet address, at any time and without assigning any reason whatsoever.
ICAI reserves the right to update or modify the Portal, including its features and functionalities, from time to time.
The Portal may contain links or references to third-party websites or content. ICAI does not control or endorse such third-party resources and assumes no responsibility for their content, accuracy, reliability, practices or availability. ICAI cannot guarantee the availability of such linked pages at all times. Access to third-party resources is at the user’s discretion.
Unauthorized linking, framing, embedding, mirroring or reproduction of the Portal or any part of its contents is prohibited except with prior permission from ICAI. Any violation would be dealt with in accordance with applicable law.
ICAI reserves the right to disable any links to, and frames of any site containing inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful topics, names, material or information.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Indian Laws. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
